I had an amazing experience at American Dream Tattoo. My cat Arya recently passed away, and I knew I wanted a memorial tattoo to remember her by. After spending a few days searching for local artists who specialize in portrait work, I found Oksana and immediately booked an appointment. The vibe of the shop is so chill and welcoming. It had been over a decade since my last tattoo, so I was incredibly nervous, but Oksana and her assistant, Hayley, immediately made me feel comfortable. Everyone at the shop was so friendly and genuinely kind, it made the entire session fly by. And the tattoo itself, I’m still in awe

Great experience with Ronak at American Dream. Ronak’s a great artist and I’m really happy with how it came out. He was helpful in turning my concept into a design I liked and then executed it beautifully. Friendly atmosphere, cool NJ shop

My husband and I recently visited this tattoo shop and we were extremely satisfied with the entire experience. The shop itself is absolutely beautiful: very clean, cozy, and welcoming. Our tattoo artist, Oxana, was incredible. She was patient, professional, and truly a genius at what she does. Her talent and attention to detail really stood out, and she made us feel comfortable throughout the whole process. We left the shop very happy with our tattoos and the overall service. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing work and a great atmosphere. P.S. would you rather …. )))

I've followed Oksana and American Dream Tattoo for years since I began my journey looking for my first memorial tattoo. Years have past and my daughter wanted to get something to remind her of her mother everyday. So I showed her this place in Instagram. She liked Paloma and booked her first tattoo. She wanted a black and white dragonfly on her arm. I was hesitant with all the fine lines in its wings, but Paloma took some out and made it less cluttered. As long as my daughter loves it I'm very happy with the way everything worked out.

The first thing I noticed about American dream was the sort of vibey/cozy layout of the shop. When you walk in you’ll notice the open layout where all of the chairs are essentially in one room. At first I was apprehensive about getting tattooed in an environment where multiple people can see me squirm and writhe in pain, but that feeling quickly left once the personalities of all the artists came to light. Everybody there is super chill and welcoming which bodes well for your comfort while you’re getting an uncomfortable tattoo. The artist who does all my work, Oksana, is amazing at her craft. She’s a perfectionist who pays an incredible attention to detail while also working efficiently and getting your tattoo done in a good amount of time. She gets into a “flow”, as she puts it, and really locks in getting a lot of work done in minimal time. My first session with her was a photo realism jaguar on my hand which she knocked out of the park! So much so, that I needed her to cover up and fix the rest of my tats done by artists not up to her standard. I’m up to 12 hours in her chair, and I will 100000% be going for more! I couldn’t recommend American dream enough, and I will be getting the rest of my work done there!
